When I first joined the creative agency as acting Creative Director, I was tasked with leading the creative for the world’s largest cannabis brand at the time, backed by one of the heirs to the Wrigley gum fortune—Mr. Beau Wrigley himself.
Although cannabis wasn’t a space or product I personally partook in, nor was I as ingrained in it as some of my colleagues (who will remain nameless), I quickly grasped the company's vision and was able to lean into trends that helped catapult the brand.
We pitched several ongoing content series that directly contributed to increased market share, ultimately leading to the agency securing more accounts and sub-brands from the holding company, Parallel. We even got to work with Justin Bieber on his cannabis brand’s launch entitled: “Peaches.” What a high.
